As we take a short break from new scripture revelations, new to us, may we take a time for an exam.
As we have spent a good deal of time reading and, hopefully ABSORBING God's Word. ABSORBING means REALLY believing. How do we know if we really believe? We are true believers when we put in to practice what we proclaim to believe.
For example, if our Lord spoke to you to trust in Him for your every need, have you totally placed your TRUST in Him to keep His promise. If we hold on to even a shadow of doubt by not resting in peace concerning the issue then there is No faith. The Word of God was read by you and intellectually "believed" by you and you still do not act on the truth then that is NOT FAITH. It is intellectual assent.

I find it funny how we can put our faith in each other yet we fail when given the opportunity to have faith in God's word. I guess it is easy to place blame if others fail us but we can only blame ourselves if we do not have the same faith when it comes to God. I must say it is nice to see you up and running again Mr. S. Please give Mrs. S a hug for me and send my love to the entire family.
