CHALLENGED

During the decades from the Ascension of Jesus following His Resurrection, the Church, the body of Christ has been persecuted for believing in Jesus. Millions have died for the truth and are now in heaven with our Father. Today, we in America are facing the boldest challenge to living and proclaiming our Faith openly. We must not cave in to pressure to "water down" the Gospel. In reading the following scripture passage please note the emphasis on the "one and only way" to God. Some who are claiming to be true Christians have left the faith and are preaching some other way. Jesus warned of the many who would fall away from the truth. Also, their is an attempt by some in authority to cause the Church to depart from the truth and yield to pressure to abandon traditional faith. May we pray for thew Holy Spirit to give us the courage to REMAIN FAITHFUL TO JESUS, THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN. Acts 4:1-22 Peter and John Before the Sanhedrin 1 The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. 2 They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. 3 They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. 4 But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand. 5 The next day the rulers, elders and teachers of the law met in Jerusalem. 6 Annas the high priest was there, and so were Caiaphas, John, Alexander and the other men of the high priest's family. 7 They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them: "By what power or what name did you do this?" 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! 9 If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11 He is " 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone. ' 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." 13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say. 15 So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together. 16 "What are we going to do with these men?" they asked. "Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it. 17 But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name." 18 Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." 21 After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened. 22 For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.

Daddy,

With tears of THANKS to Lord for your healing I read this blog entry...
"It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed...all the people were praising God for what had happened. For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old." Acts 4:10,21

A week ago today we remembered the stripes JESUS took upon His HOLY Body ...I picture Him standing there, carrying the cross, stopping ..looking YOU in the eyes and Saying "RICHARD by THESE STRIPES I HAVE HEALED YOU of the curse Satan will try to give you in years to come" "BY MY STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED!"

Your ministry now is so much more powerful than it was back in the
70s...I see you touching lives bringing all of us to a NOW FAITH...not just talking about what GOD Did for us in the past BUT PREACHING and LIVING What GOD IS DOING...HE IS ALIVE ...HE Wants true revival. HE is seeking those who want to be sponges soaking up HIS WORD.
YOUR HEALING ...YOUR MIRACLE reminds us that JESUS said You will do greater things in my name.
JESUS Raised the dead! HE Wants revival to come and again groups of 5000 at a time on FIRE proclaiming LOOK what the LORD has done!

Lovingly,
Dee

It is so sad to see what the Lord foretold about the very elect being deceived and falling away. Thank you for reminding us to always take it back to Jesus!!

I am prepared to concede that Jesus may not the only way, but if the reference is to the Jesus, the Son of God identified in the holy Word of God, and if heaven is the heaven where God the Father lives, then JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY! My position is that people can say whatever they like, but when it comes to the Word of God, there is no if, and, or but. If some other book speaks of heaven then one may not need the Christ to get there, but if at all we are referring to the the Bible, then ther is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved than the name of Jesus, the son of the living God.

This same God sent His Son to die for all the sins brought into the world. This second Adam, has reversed the curse of sin and brought healing in His wings. This is where we stand today, on the solid Rock, Jesus Christ the Son of God. Your healing, my healing, the prosperity of your soul and your good health is a settled matter in heaven, that is all that matters. We believe and will continue to believe what God says, regardless of any thing seen or felt, His Word remains the bedrock of our faith and in Him we stand.

His Word was sent and healing is YOURS, the wicked one will try to take that away, but he cannot, so do not GIVE it to him. Without our cooperation, he is powerless in our lives. And so, we remember, that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dewlls in you, yes you Richard, now step aside and observe as the Great Physician perfects his work in you.

Our world is in great need. Our world needs HIS light. At times we forget HE is there to not only guide us but give us great gifts. He has done just that by giving you a mission to bring his word to others. We live in a time when God is often being pushed aside and non belief is quickly becoming the new religion. When we lose sight of his light our world shall perish.

13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

God uses the meekest among us to bring great light to the world. Is it not time for all of us to surround ourselves with the love of Jesus? We all have great work to be done upon this earth and I am thankful he has given you such a gift to reach out to others with his word. God has written the story which is my life and with faith in him the pages I once felt were just an empty slate will guide me with powerful wisdom and purpose. It is time for us to have great strength and rise to walk with Jesus so we may be an example to others for if we hide in the safety of our homes others will never know the Godly lives he has called us to live and the greatest gifts he has for us will be empty and unfulfilled.
